SLO County Libraries, San Lusis Obispo, CA

Host: County of San Luis Obispo Public Libraries

995 Palm Street
San Luis Obispo, CA 93401

SLO Library is the one of the 3 Regional Libraries for our County.  We are located in the center of Downtown SLO where you can walk to multiple restaurants, hotels, local coffee/tea shops, stores (for regular shopping needs), etc.  And this is just in Downtown SLO, surrounding areas have even more restaurants, hotels, local coffee/tea shops, stores, etc.

Every Thursday evening on Higuera Street the Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market takes place.  This is a major street in Downtown SLO that closes down so that local shops can sell their produce, food, merch.

SLO Libraries also usually close all Libraries on Friday mornings for staff to work on off desk projects.  We can tour SLO Library at this time, it is 3 floors so it would be a short tour :).

Jackson County Library Services, OR

Host: Jackson County Library Services

205 S Central Ave
Medford, OR 97501

Nestled in the charming heart of Jackson County, the Medford Library Branch is the perfect spot with everything you need to set up a fantastic conference. Friendly staff from Support Services, Administrative, and Community Engagement teams will be there to lend a hand with anything the conference committee needs. Everyone’s buzzing with ideas on how we can help make the 2027 conference fun, informative, and unforgettable! We’re so excited to share the beauty of our community with all the attendees and will do everything we can to ensure everyone has an awesome time at Koha-US 2027.

In keeping with the meaning of Koha, we’d like to give back to the community that has given us so much already. Hosting the conference would allow us contribute to the wider community. It would also help to lower the cost for the smaller local libraries in OR, CA, and WA who wouldn’t otherwise get to go to a KohaCon US.
