I graduated from Syracuse University’s iSchool in 2015 with a Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science. My library experience ranges from Children’s Room Assistant to Consortium ILS Administrator. I currently administer a Koha site, supported by ByWater Solutions, for 46 member libraries in and around New York’s Hudson Valley. Generously assisted by ByWater Solutions staff, I led a successful ILS migration from SirsiDynix Symphony to Koha in 2024, training roughly 800 frontline staff members along the way. Recently I have become an active member of the Koha dev community, assisting in QA for ByWater’s “Pellenor Fields” initiative, as well as writing my own patch that adds a new permission to Koha (bug41253). I have an elderly yet energetic dog named Charles Barkley that regularly sleeps at my feet while I attend SIG meetings and who I will show on webcam by request.

I have been the circulation supervisor at the Liberty Lake Municipal Library for the last 22 years. We have been using koha since 2012 when we joined the InlandShare Group (ILG) with neighboring Idaho. We are supported by ByWater. I have been working with different software in my years in library and I find Koha to be the easiest to adapt, if something is need and the community is great.
